I did a factory order through Koons for my '16 Limited 75th earlier this year. About 4 weeks from order date to delivery, I picked it up the same day the truck dropped it off. You get the rates/incentives available on the day you pick it up, not the day you order.

I believe he may be referring to the DRLs being quite bright. Unless something has changed, the fogs are only available when the main headlights are on low beam.

First notch on headlight selector - isn't this pic showing the LED fogs and no headlight? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1474741166.885740.jpg

Re: Trailhawk or Limited?

You can do DRL and fog lights but you have to turn it off of "auto" on the headlight knob. I could do it on my '14 and can do it on my '15

I may be too old, but never too old to learn. Thanks!

Re: Trailhawk or Limited?

That's the beauty of JeepGarage. It doesn't matter who you are, there is something useful here for everyone!

Although I know I only get automatic high beams in the auto headlight mode, I'm not a fan of that mode and didn't think of that limitation.

Ended up doing a factory order for a limited with lux 2, blind spot and ORA 2. Dealer said it should be here in about 8 weeks. Told me they would match the Koons deal since I'm a returning customer and I've steered a few people to them that have recently purchased Jeeps. Thanks for all the help and insight.

What was the price difference between the Trailhawk and the Limited? I think you'll see it faster than 8 weeks...just my 2 cents

You to have order active safety with the lux package on the Trailhawk currently, active safety isn't required on the limited so I think the price difference was around $1,331 or so. I'm nearing the top of what I want to pay a month for it so that 1300 would have made a big difference for me if I went with the Trailhawk.

I completely understand...I think its crazy sometimes when you have to take certain options to get the other options that you want...as you probably all ready know the Limited is essentially the same vehicle with the ORAII.

The same thing happened to me when I bought the 2014 Limited...I wanted an Overland but they forced me to get the Advanced Tech Package which was about 2k more. I ended up getting the Limited and saving around 5K as the Overland was about 3K more then an additional 2k for the option I didn't want at the time because I was trying to keep cost down.

IMPY5...are you tracking your new build here on this site?

Yeah I don't particularly like that practice, I'm assuming it's more efficient for the factory doing it that way, plus they get to charge more money. I'm going to do the tracking as soon as the dealer gets me the VON, I'm excited to experience the whole process. Hopefully it doesn't take the full 8-10 weeks the dealer quoted me.
