Re: Trailhawk VS Summit

If you look at most luxury sports cars they are almost always black.

Black never looks dated and always cleans up fine.

It does get dirty. It's like owning a black exterior car.

Once light colors get dirty (like a carpet) it looks old and worn. And impossible to revive.
I've sold 10 year old cars with black interiors and they clean up like new.

I have friends with Tan or Grey interiors that are say 2 years old and they already look old.

Trailhawk VS Summit

^^I agree with all of this. Except when you said luxury sports cars are generally black inside... True, it's just sportier but I couldn't help but think of that gawd awful orange/tan that Porsche seems to think is so attractive

Could it be that you take better care of your cars?

Re: Trailhawk VS Summit

I have a tan interior and everyone who gets in my car asks if its new. It even still has the new car smell (though ive gone nose blind to it). My vehicle is over a year old.

Its all about how you take care of the vehicle. I do agree about the mats issue. Those get dirty real quick. But if thats such an issue at selling time then ill just buy new mats. Problem solved.

Like you, I've never had a problem keeping all the tan interiors I've owned clean and fresh looking.

Yet another reason I'm ordering a loaded Limited -- frost interior with black carpets.

Have y'all seen the Velvet Red Trailhawk? The one vehicle that could make me reconsider my light interior vs. dark interior stance.

I love Velvet Red (See my Signature). But the Red Tow Hooks look odd with it. The Red Tow hooks look real nice on the Black. Other than that it looks nice.

And that Dark interior is awesome too.

Too many people buying Velvet Red. That's MY Color.

Completely agree. But that seems like an easy fix. Paint em black. Problem solved.

No, but today I got to see the Redline Red one! I think it looks great. I do agree that maybe Black tow hooks would look sharp on it. What do you guys think of this color?

I think the redline red looks sharp, i'm not really a red kinda guy though. White is sharp too. I wanted a metallic color and though black is nice when its clean its too much work for me, my girlfriend has a Pitch Black Charger Scat Pack and she can't seem to keep it clean for more than a day. So that kinda left Billet Silver and Granite Crystal....since my Hard Rock is Billet I decided on the Granite.

I think the Granite matches very well with the red accents and the greyed out trim. Same color I ordered.

Has anyone seen a trailhawk in the Rhino yet?
