Re: Trailhawk VS Summit

Now, I did not read all 6+ pages in this post. I am a proud owner of a 2013 Black Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with the 5.7L, pano sunroof and other cool options. The interesting thing i found out with my TH is that is is insured as a Laredo.. this was a trim level that you could not get the 5.7 V8 on unless it was the TH or the Altitude. This saves money on insurance; for me anyways.

My TH added standard features like skid plats, flat black hood graphic, grey wheels, mirrors, grill, and rear accent, black headlights, smoked tail lights, metal rock sliders, Quadra tech II, air ride, and down hill decent control to name a few. I do get brushed interior instead of chrome or wood. An all black (minus the headliner) interior. Suede/leather seats, rubber and cloth floor mats, sub woofer, cruise control, navigation with B/U camera, and a couple of more creature features for a 4 year old vehicle... some items were just not available..

Now these items to me really stand out and make the TH look better then any other GC with the exception of the SRT8.. Also, it is rumored that Jeep only made 2,000 of the 2013 Trailhawks.

^^It looks nice. I still like the 2014+ better. And I'll never own a vehicle that doesn't have HID or LED headlights.

the 2013 is the last year for the split rear tailgate. ;-) i can swap in the SRT8 headlights, but i dropped in Sylvania Ultras.

Re: Trailhawk VS Summit

Yup, I have a 2013 TH too, and I love it. I will miss the split tailgate when I do upgrade at some point...thinking 2.0 TH in the early spring. I live in Vermont, where there are no streetlights, and I'm fine without the HIDs. I'm sure if I had them, I'd be impressed, but I'm just used to what I've got.
