Excellent point, sir, which of course leads to the question of what to do with the horn that was originally on the cruise ship.

Allow me to make a modest proposal:
All this rhetoric about a half hearted installation of just a train horn as an upgrade just indicates the deterioration of yankee ingenuity and the ability to think big. Any self respecting horny jeeper should install a ship horn on their jeep. A few sacrifices in space to put the boiler and loss of mpg due to the non-aerodynamic qualities of the steam horn would be something every horny jeeper should be willing to put up with. Acceptable alternatives would be an ocean buoy fog horn, etc. etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PS. It appears this topic has degenerated into name calling as far too many do. Tips on how to actually swap such a horn seem to be as rare as acceptable manners.

Can the mods please add the beating of a dead horse smiley to the default list?

And possibly one with a dunce capped muck raker sitting in a corner?

I'd go tsk tsk tsk if I hadn't been guilty of using a wrist rocket to launch cherry bombs into the smaller Utah canyons decades ago.

That's probably because they've either been lucky enough not to get caught using it so far or they're too embarrassed to admit that they did.

No legal issues for me in 10 years of having mine. Maybe it depends on the region and level of Nazi Police statism you live under.

It has nothing to do with nazi police statism... you've just been extraordinarily lucky.

You and I both know they're illegal in TN.
