Of the three current generation muscle cars, I feel Ford has the best option. While I haven't test driven one, the Boss 302 has the right ingredients for pure performance at a "reasonable" price (minus dealer availability fee).

The Boss is purely a weekend toy. I've had it for about 5 weeks and just now eclipsed the 500 mile mark. Hopefully, I will get out to the track when it cools off around here and see what the Boss will do in its natural habitat.

Here are a few pics:

Cabinetman, really nice car! Thanks for the pictures.

Did you have a mustang prior to the Boss 302?

NHman

I've had a few Mustangs over the years. Just prior to the Boss I had a 2011 GT500 with the SVT Performance Package. The Shelby looked great and had more bells and whistles than the Boss, but the engine is just too much for the chassis and tires. I actually feel like I'm faster in the Boss because I can put all the power down sooner without so much wheel spin. Also, the front end of the Boss feels lighter and more direct than the Shelby did.

My god man, how low is your garage? My garage is pretty small and I have no problems what so ever clearing my antenna

ps...the shark fin looks like poo and your reception will be poo also

Re: Tweaks to improve the JGC

I think the sharkfin looks good. Mine should be here this week for my new ride.
As for reception, I have not read many complaints, and they may be due to incorrect fitting.
I think the ancient antenna looks worse and it silly when you run roof bars, as you cannot put many things on the roof with it fitted.

Oh ... you meant the interior ... nevermind

Re: Tweaks to improve the JGC

One thing that really bugs me...

The steering wheel mounted radio control that toggles between radio stations. This should really toggle between presets instead of just everything. The single middle button only goes down on presets, you should be able to go both ways. Bugs the heck out of me!
