Two different Saddle color options?

One is the dash is black with saddle seats, other is saddle dash and seats - how do you order one or the other?

Re: Two different Saddle color options?

The saddle dash only comes on Overland Summit models...and it is the only option, no black dash available on the Overland Summit. Too much saddle for me, which is why I opted for an Overland instead of the Summit.

Re: Two different Saddle color options?

The saddle/black is Overland, the saddle/saddle is Summit.

Re: Two different Saddle color options?

From what I read and Jeeps "build your own" site, the second one is for the Overland Summit.

Agreed, I was bummed to learn I couldn't get the black wood in a non-Summit. I may swap out the pieces one day if I can ever find the black wood, but for now I can live with the standard wood. At least it is real and not some plastic stuff.

That was the deal killer for me and the Summit, the saddle dash was too much saddle in my face and reflected in the windshield. Personally I like contrast of the "wood colored" wood against the black.

I don't. I love the saddle on the dash and throughout the car. Also my vehicle is white gold which is another thing people don't seem to like. It appears that I have a vehicle that people don't like all around, but it's the one I chose, the one I drive and the one I love.

Re: Two different Saddle color options?

i was hesitant to go with the overland saddle until i saw it in person, but the overland "summit" saddle was way too much for my liking. it always reminds of the look when people customize their rides and paint their dash or wrap it with a bright colored leather/viynl.

Re: Two different Saddle color options?

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't like the additional saddle trim in the Summit. But after sitting in several, I have grown to like it.

Overall, just think it generally looks better in person vs. photos.

Matter of taste, just like how some people don't like the lighter wood in the standard overland.

And believe it or not, after talking to my salesman...lot of people don't even like the saddle interior.

I agree. I don't like it in photos, but when I saw the full saddle (with the black wood) on a Summit in the dealer showroom I was blown away with how nice it looks.
