Hi, I am thinking of putting a set of srt rims on my 2014 GC Overlander and would like to know if I can buy a new set of sensors and will they then have to be re programmed etc.? Where can I buy new sensors? Thanks, regards Growler

Re: tyre pressure sensors

Buy a set of sensors from Tire rack specific for the Jeep GC and you will be fine. No need for programming. The TPMS system will automatically read the new sensors.
I have a set of winter tires on 18" wheels (through Tire Rack) and twice a year when I switch tires, the TPMS system takes a few kilometers to pick up on the different sensor/different position.

Depending on where you live, and what tire/wheel dealers are in the area...
... Any jeep/mopar dealer
... Tire Rack, or Discount Tire [buy the mopar ones]
... Amazon
... Any of several online Mopar parts dealers, e.g. moparoverstock
... EBay, new ones only, from a trusted seller

Rebuild kits also available, but tire/wheel shops may be better bet to do this.

No reprogramming necessary, it will pick up the new sensors automagically, or if you want to just transfer the ones over from your current wheels.

Re: tyre pressure sensors

Send a message to this guy, I bought a set of (4) for $50 US shipped. For a 2014, you need the 433mhz (part #56029398AB), and no programming will be required.

metro24wholesale-2009 on eBay

If it's too expensive though, you can always have the original's pulled and reused in the new tires.
