Yeah it is slow. Many times I was reaching the car before remote start activation
I'm guessing the network card in the car only wakes up every 2..3 minutes. Otherwise would eat too much battery.
Or it's a crappy system
Not sure how others similar system work.

I'd agree except for the fact that the UNLOCK/LOCK feature works very fast in comparison. And since they both use the same network...
