Re: Uconnect Access for the 2014 is a GO!!

I am sorry for asking the stupid question. Is this a replacement for Sirius? I do not quite understand what this Uconnect Access is. It appears that it uses Sprint wireless service to get info and such. Does it mean if you are far away from a city, would it still work?

You will still have Sirius radio, that hasn't changed. UConnect would let you say do a BING search or start your car from your phone or find a restaurant.

Very cool. thanks! I just hope it lets you do the search and other stuff when the vehicle is in motion. Otherwise, it is just easier to let a passenger use the phone to find the info.

I think that is a negatory while in motion. There is noticeable lag when trying to execute commands. I'm not sold on how well it works just yet.

I'm glad you got your Jeep first. You'll have us all educated by the time ours are delivered.

And if mine comes off the line that way, we'll know they were paying attention.
