Except that m4a is not proprietary and Apple distributes music as AAC files.

RA3 will not have Sirius Traffic, Sirius Travel Link or 3D Navigation. It's one of the reasons I upgraded to the Limited.

Just plug your iPod/iPhone/iPad in via USB and store it in the front cubby. Works like a charm!

Are you impressed by the 3d maps?

You know, it's funny. I really didn't want to miss out on that, but where I live there isn't even any 3D because I live in the sticks. I'm sure when I go into DC or NY there will be and I'll be glad I have it for sure.

The bigger thing for me was the sirius traffic. It has saved me a lot of time in my VW when taking trips from MD to upstate NY, re-directing me around accidents and road work. It's a huge plus in my mind.

So you and I both live in a 2d world. Lol
Only certain areas have "3d" maps??

I'm not sure what they mean by 3D, but I'm assuming they mean the 3d models of buildings and stuff. I'm not sure if it also includes the "3D" view that is basically just a non-flat view that shows an overhead view of where you are driving.

I would think the RA3 includes that too, but I couldn't confirm that. I know that it's missing the 3d models of buildings in cities though - which looks pretty cool if you look at the videos on youtube.

Re: Uconnect Access for the 2014 is a GO!!

They need to hurry up and get Via Mobile working. I want my Pandora! The owners booklet package that came with mine had an insert to set up Via Mobile, had me going to the owner connect site and then editing my profile. Nothing there to edit though for Pandora, Slacker, etc.
