Could be a pretty good find for people and I think it works similar to Pandora, etc. My now traded in 2012 BMW X5 came with BMW ConnectedDrive, which is BMW's version of listening to internet radio all over the world while integrating it within the vehicle. Well, upon taking delivery of my 2015 Overland I thought I'd see if the app would work and sure enough, all my saved Internet radio stations (in the ConnectDrive app) work while connected to Bluetooth in the Jeep! What I mean is that like Pandora, I am actually able to use my steering wheel control buttons to toggle through all my saved radio stations while connected. On the screen it will indeed display the radio station you're listening to, however, it will not display the song (or whatever's playing). Not a big deal.
Anyway, if you're interested give it a try! I don't believe you have to have an account with BMW ConnectDrive. Just download the BMW ConnectDrive app, tap at the bottom on BMW Apps and then web radio. You can then search and save radio stations from all over the world. I'm pretty sure you can listen to other internet radio apps the same way. But what I like about this app is it seems to allow you to toggle through your "saved radio stations" within Chrysler's 8.4 radios using the steering wheel buttons while also showing the selected radio station on the display. Even better, it works wirelessly with the 8.4 through the Bluetooth audio source and I am using an Apple iPhone
