Used Srt, Overland or Summit or Altitude

Hello all,
Ive been looking into getting a new WK2. Im looking for a little guidance/ advice on what i should get. My price range is 40k-50k and i really like the way the altitude looks but i hear it doesn't have the features of a overland or summit. Does anybody think its possible to get a used 14' SRT in this price range or should i put my money into a cheaper used overland and spend some to black it out. A Summit would also be an option but i find them to be a little over the top.

Re: Used Srt, Overland or Summit or Altitude

I say get the Overland and black it out. That's what I did. You might be able to get a NEW Overland and black it out, if you can get the Overland for a great negotiated price. I love the SRT but personally don't want the rough ride or not having the air suspension / snow capabilities of the Overland. I wouldn't trust a used SRT either, who knows how hard the previous owner was on the engine.

Not that much really, and I did all of the work myself. The mirror caps worked out well because I traded with someone who had brilliant black and wanted chrome. I still have chrome handles which cost some decent amount to change out (I'm thinking $300 plus $100 labor or more as don't think I could do those myself). I want brilliant black handles though, just haven't, yet anyway. Grill cost me $300 I think and JEEP emblem and side GRAND CHEROKEE letters cost $80 maybe. Rear brow (mine's a 2012) was $100 I think. I didn't get black wheels, I like my Overland wheels.

Re: Used Srt, Overland or Summit or Altitude

I'd question those SRT's. Maybe early builds with tranny issues or worse...

You can question just about any used 2014 Grand Cherokee.

Re: Used Srt, Overland or Summit or Altitude

Thanks guys, I didn't think that id find a SRT under 50k (but there was a small bit of hope). I think I'm going to get a white or black overland with the adaptive cruise control package and de-chrome it.

I didn't read your entire post, just the title. That's all I need to read. SRT. Easy.
