Re: V6 or Hemi

Ok since everyone seems to think Hemi, which I would prefer but really don't need. Can someone that has a Hemi post their mpg.

****This was with my old 5.7 Grand Cherokee Overland

When I was out of NYC for a week and was in a normal city, LOL. My city mileage was 12-13.

Highway: If I did not drive like an asshole, 16-17

Once you hit that skinny pedal, it goes downhill.

Re: V6 or Hemi

My drive is mostly highway speeds but have to go threw town as well. With the warmer weather and staying off the skinny pedal I'm in the mid 18's for mpg. What about type of gas you usually use, octane level? I will also have to see what type of options you get when adding a Hemi to the new laredo versus the V6 pricing.

Re: V6 or Hemi

None of you guys know how the hemi will do in that WK.. it weighs more and the VCT tech is in the new hemi, not ours.. once someone chimes in with a 2009+ hemi.. ask them about their milage.

Re: V6 or Hemi

If I can get 21 mpg at 60mph with a tune, cruise control () and a higher octane.. the new hemi should do the same, stock, with 89 octane IMO

And yeah the weight difference isn't that much..
