I really don't want to tap the wire thats provided in this thread. Would prefer to tap one thats connected to the ACC bus only. Sunroof, garage door opener??

I am going to do the mirror as I already have a InvisiCord. Just need to know where to place the prongs.

I got my BlendMount and after a test-fit, its looks like it will work just fine!

^+1, though tempted to just check the mirror harness with an ampmeter, it would be nice to confirm the ACC bus connections. will likely add the blendmount as well, thanks.

If you do check the mirror, let me know which ports you use to hardwire.

Re: Valentine 1 Hardwire

Will do. Below is the pin diagram for the overhead console wiring harness that Milous provided. Would be nice to have the same for powered mirror, pretty please.

Re: Valentine 1 Hardwire

Looks like pin 1 (RD w/ WT tracer) would be the one to tap in the overhead console. What do you guys think? (Edit) Hmmm maybe the lift gate would be best...

Re: Valentine 1 Hardwire

I mounted my Valentine 1 in my last car on the passenger sun visor inside a CD holder case. I used the remote display and put that next to the steering wheel on the right so it was hidden from view if someone looked into my drivers window. The downside to that install is you can't use that visor, but I'm usually alone, so it was never a problem for me. I can't decide if I want to install it in the Jeep. I haven't had it in the rental, and not having the beeps everytime I pass a mall is nice. I never intentionally go more than 10 over anymore, but I would hate to get a ticket if I accidently went to fast on a road because my eyes were off the speedo at the wrong time....

When you get your Blendmount installed could you post some pics? I want to do the same thing, but it don't look to me like it will fit the Overland mirror w/the tapered shaft and very little clearance. Hope I am wrong!! Thanks.
