How much vibration do you feel from the road way in your steering wheel? When you're driving on a semi- rough road (think a well worn asphalt road, not off-roading) how much feedback do you get in your wheel?
I guess on a 1-10 scale, 1 being absolutely no feedback and 10 being a mechanical bull, how does your jeep hold up (also what trim and drive train)
I recall feeling zero road vibrations in my steering wheel. If there are any vibrations or harmonic kind of feeling/vibrations from the pavement its felt throughout the car and not just the steering wheel. My steering wheel is 100% smooth at all speeds so far. The factory did a nice job of balancing this set of wheels. As far as feedback from slightly rougher pavement I don't really recall anything from that either. Is there even a direct connection from the steering wheel to the front wheels?
My 2011 Limited V-6 has what I would call good road feel.
I get a little bit of wandering I have to counteract driving on grooved pavement, not bad, but I can tell it's there, probably has more to do with my tires (Geolander AT/S) than anything else.
She has more feel in the steering wheel than either my F150 or Explorer did, and only slightly more than my LR Disco did.
I wouldn't call it harsh at all, and I do like to know what my front wheels are doing.
