Viewed one!

I was finally able to see touch and smell a new Blk/Blk Limited yesterday.
The dealer was closed so I could not get inside or drive it.
I was not that impressed with the style compared to the WK, but I am hopeful that the SRT will be more pleasing to my eye when it is released.
The only thing that disappointed me about it, was the fabric in the wheel wells, I would imagine it is for noise reduction, but it will look terrible real quickly and be impossible to clean.
What are others opinions about the fabric in the wells?

Re: Viewed one!

My wifes lexus has the same wheel well liners and they stay clean forever and I just simply spray them off when they get dirty etc. Salt, mud...nothing has stained them. Her car has 25K miles and they look perfect.

I have also driven the limited hemi black/black and IMO the interior is up to par with BMW/Lexus/Merc etc. I love the fit and finish of the entire vehicle. No cheap plastic......no cheap anything. Extremely comfortable for me and Im 6'6" tall and 260 lbs. The seats are at another level from the WK...even the current SRT seats. The exterior is sweet IMO...I dont like the plastic fender flares...they should be body color...but I have a feeling that will be taken care of by Mopar or Jeep. I also feel there may be a lip kit kinda like the Moapr kit on the WK. I know there are Mopar wheels and "other" accessories on the way.........LOL

Re: Viewed one!

Interesting, never noticed that the IS Lexus had them, I am going to view a few used ones and see how they look.
If I get time this weekend, I want to try one out, I am just going to wait 1-2 years before buying another one because I am hopeful they make improvements on exterior appearance with the SRT model.

Re: Viewed one!

i went by chapman yesterday and they had one, its wasnt the resale model tho, they said it was owned by someone who works for chrysler, but it had all the late available stuff on it already.. pretty sweet looking in person, i was iffy about the design but as soon as i saw it a big ass smile came on my face. i like how it looks a little wider than the wk.. it sorta looks like the wj and wk got together and made a baby, well at least the front end.. the brochure is sick too, go get one!
