Re: VIN doesn't match the build or compliance date
Jeep did start building their 2012 models in July-August 2011 and they were in the show room for sale by Sept 2012. So you should have a 2012 model number VIN as you have what is labeled a 2012 model.
Not sure what that means for you for compliance, but TSBs are usually associated with the build date or VIN range. So you would look for TSBs that apply to models built in October 2011.
