visors

Maybe I am late to the game...but stumbled upon my visors being able to be extended out and I was being blinded by the sun the other day. It was like unwrapping a new Christmas present!

Re: visors

Many visors on many vehicles have had that feature for years, so yes, you are very late to the game

Re: visors

Some vehicles are even so advanced as to have a second smaller visor for when you are affected by the sun on a winding road.

Yup, my 2004 Pathfinder had dual visors...but sadly, didn't have the sliding feature (or the sometimes used alternate version of a slide-out plastic piece in the visor).

Re: visors

My wife discovered the visor feature recently, after having the GC for over a year, and LOVES the feature.

Re: visors

whoa lol wtf. This is the first time I've seen or heard of this, lol. I was wondering what would happen in those situations. On my old vehicle, there was a sliding panel in the visor. I didn't see anything like that on this visor and thought it was just that. Cool man.

Re: visors

Just in case some folks don't know this, visors can also be swung around to block sun coming through the side window.

The first car I had that had the slide feature was a '61 Chevy.

Now, that I know. Actually, what I find annoying is how easy it is to jump off the pivot clip. When I'm trying to open my visor, half the time, it pops out. Annoying iMO.
