If any dealer doesn't want to do in-warranty and out-of-warranty work on any vehicle that wasn't purchased from them...you clearly made a good decision not to purchase from them. For most dealers, the service department is a completely different profit center from vehicle sales, and refusing to perform service of any kind doesn't speak well for their overall business acumen. Rather, they should cheerfully do the work and if they are smart, try to ascertain why you chose to buy elsewhere so they can do better vying for your business the next time you are looking to acquire a new vehicle.
