For something as simple as a water pump more than 1 week is not acceptable. Parts supply is not one of Jeeps better areas

It's good to know because on my next road trip I might spring ofr an aftermarket one to keep as a spare as I suspect mine will fail again about every 30K. A non-jeep part couldn't be worse. I then would try to get the OEM one I removed replaced under warranty as a part swap as the next spare.

It blows my mind that with all the 5.7L hemi's out there they don't have enough water pumps... Of course if they all only last 30K, then I guess I understand.

...And Fiat wants us to consider a miata with a fiat engine in it... um, no.

Im glad Jeep corp. is eating the cost on these and not the jeep owners maybe it will help get some attention on it.

What is the cost of the aftermarket part?
