Mine is good and cold now that they charged it properly. Its an early build 2014 a march 2013 build date so the under charging was just another one of the early 2014 model year bugs.

My summit has been underwhelming in the a/c department and had the software updated for hvac so maybe a recharge is in order. I also find auto getting stuck blowing on the floor when set to low temp on a hot day. Its a real piss poor system for this caliber vehicle. Thanks for the info.

If you have not done it try the unhook of the battery cable for 30+ minutes and let everything reset. after I had the hvac software fix my who system was acting bizzare the cable reset fixed it and made it operate correctly(except for the low system charge which is fixed now)

I have had my 2014 GC about 2 and a half years now and I have always thought the air conditioning seemed weak(blows fine just not as cold as it should be), it eventually cools but doesn't cool well especially when the temps get really high. I always figured that was just how it was and was just a bit of a marginal ac system. After a 90+ day and someone in my car commenting on the mildly cool air without my prompting, I took it in to the dealer
What the dealer found was an under charged A/C system. They evacuated and recharged it with the proper amount and it feels more like an ac should now. I probably should have taken it in long ago for this but I was trying not to be overly particular as the GC had been in for a number of other things. As it has always been this way and never gotten worse in 2.5 years I suspect it was just under filled at the factory vs a leak. So if anyone else notices an AC system in their 2014-2015 GC that is not performing up to the way you expect, it that may not be just the way it is and may be worth a trip to the dealer for a recharge if it were under filled like mine. Mine was a 2014 GC March 2013 build. There was no cost for this and I assume the dealer covered it under the 3/36.
I've thought the same thing since I got mine in 2013.. of course, always forget to mention it when in for service, but wouldn't surprise me. I've had a couple of new vehicles in the past that were under charged from factory. I did have to get blower replaced a month ago because bearings were bad or something and it was driving me nuts.
