weathertech side window deflectors (?)

I was thinking about buying the weathertech side window deflectors and I was wondering what others on here think of them, specifically:

Does the dark tint or light tint match the factory window tinting?

Do they reduce the wind buffeting/"helicopter" noise that occurs when the windows are rolled down?

Do they allow the windows to roll up and down freely with no strain on the motor?

Are you happy with the look and quality of them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm happy with mine. I haven't had any problem with the windows going up and down.
I also haven't noticed any additional wind noise.

Re: weathertech side window deflectors (?)

I had them on my previous vehicle and found they increased the noise level during highway driving...I'm not getting them for my JGC, despite the fact that I liked their functionality otherwise in the old ride.

Did you notice any difference in the wind buffeting with the windows down? I'd like to roll down the rear windows individually so that the dog can stick his head out but the wind buffeting is very loud when I do that, it sounds like a helicopter is landing in the back seat.

Re: weathertech side window deflectors (?)

Had them in my old car they really didn't do too much for me, there are two types the one that goes on the outside of the car and the one that goes inside ethe window jam... Both really have no effect on the motor of the window. As for the helicopter noise if you open one window and crack another one you will eliminate it entirely. The noise is from the in equalized pressure. The dark tint imho looks better that the light because the dark matches the window tint better. but the most annoying thing is that un equal pressure noise so If you crack another window it should eliminate the helicopter sound.hope this helps good luck!
