There really aren't any ways of replacing Nuke power for electricity generation on that scale, wind farms simply will not cut it. So called "Green Energy" simply doesn't exist on any meaningful scale. What happened in the Gulf was bad, but will largely be forgotten and cleaned up naturally after the Gulf warms this summer. Oil leaking into the environment is a very natural thing that occurs in all areas of the world even without drilling. Although it wasn't good the situation was hyped to a large degree by people with an irrational hatred of oil. By the way, humans account for 0.28% of all greenhouse gasses, and the rest of the gasses largely consist of water vapor. If we were to put all of the money that is being spent globally on reducing CO2 emissions into solving a real problem we could probably do something meaningful like ending world hunger instead.
