Re: What are some positive things about the WK2?

You know the Jeep is a good vehicle when somebody takes the time to dig up a nine month old thread just to rave about it.

That normally happens when somebody wants to jump on an existing "Let's bash something" thread.

What I like about it primarily is that it starts every time. Without that, who cares about anything else. After that, it has a nice quiet cabin and handles both beach and highway driving equally well.

Yes! In all honesty, it dropped to 13.7 MPG going over the passes to George town. I get about 14-16 MPG pulling the Airstream. The trailer in the photo is aluminum and the car weighs less than 2000 pounds.

I traded in a '12 Silvarado 2500HD crew cab 4x4 with the 6.0 gas motor. The WK2 actually produces more torque and HP than the Chevy. Great ride compared to a 3/4 ton pick up with more power!

Chevy transmission went south at 980 miles!

That is both impressive and encouraging. We have driven a Class C Motorhome about 13,000 miles with <10 mpg averages. I am about to sell it and replace it with a travel trailer to tow with the GC.

Re: What are some positive things about the WK2?

I spend a lot of time in the Jeep everyday driving from one job site to another.More time in it doing paperwork, making conference calls and ordering material from my iPad. Very solid ride on any terrain. Plus my daily naps are Great! Most comfortable seating in any vehicle I have ever owned. Every time I walk up to my jeep I think WOW this is a beautiful vehicle. My coworkers think the same. To me the best part of of the day is the hour ride home in Atlanta's rush hour traffic.
I'm comfortable, safe and secure. Love the sound system and Sirius. Glad I choose the Jeep Grand Cherokee!

I like that you don't have to change the oil till the Oil Change Indicator System tells you to.
