Re: What can we expect of Jeep Brown interior?

I still need to see the Indigo in person. Some pictures make it look bad like the blue is faded, while the press shots make it look awesome.

Re: What can we expect of Jeep Brown interior?

Scott,

Would you say the promo picture from Jeep is a good representation? Maybe at least a little better than the cell phone images .... in your opinion of course?

Re: What can we expect of Jeep Brown interior?

I mentioned isn a previous post that we had one of the first havana brown interiors in our BMW. I went through the same thing on a BMW forum trying to provide pictures for members of the exact interior color. I musta taken a hundred pics and not one really represented what I was looking at. They all had a grayish, muted tint, much like I am seeing with the pics posted here.

Re: What can we expect of Jeep Brown interior?

i'm finding that every picture in under fluorescent lights gives everything a greenish tint. In addition, I've even noticed that on the 2014 grand cherokee website...all colors are tinted green. If you choose black online, it does not look black at all.

Jeep paid a LOT of money for the promo pictures. The professional photographer set up numerous lights, umbrellas, and properly used a flash to create the most accurate representation of the colors he was shooting.

At least that's what I keep telling myself because I fell in love with the press photos

Could be a problem with the colour balance on your screen...

Re: What can we expect of Jeep Brown interior?

I've seen this color combo in person. On my monitor it's pretty close to the press pics. The blue and brown are both pretty dark colors so the color difference between them isn't very obvious (it may stand out more in different lights?). The blue carries on to the door panels -- I think it adds character without being bold or ugly. With the white piping it all comes together nicely and considering that manufacturers have gone exclusively black or beige lately it's pretty special IMO.
