I get bored with cars and flip my daily drivers every couple years just for something new. Now, the Porsche in the back garage is another story, I may be buried in that
What model, year is the Porsche?

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

I just traded in a '08 Cadillac SRX AWD for my black/black Limited with Lux Group II and Adaptive Cruise package.

Like a previous poster before the Caddy I had a '04 V8 Touareg with every option you could get on it. That was my favorite vehicle of all time. I see a lot similarities in the WK2 to the Touareg, and that's a good thing. I will enjoy the lower maintenance costs and updated technology (Bluetooth, adaptive cruise, ventilated seats, etc) in the new ride.

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

I traded in a 2008 Infiniti G37 Sport with all the whistles and bells for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was bittersweet but loving the Jeep! Glad to be back behind a HEMI!

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

I sold my 04 Trailblazer. It only had 60k km on it and I absolutely adored that car but it was time to let it go. As soon as I test drove the jeep I was in love with it.
By the way, can you guys tell me if the heated seats also heat the back? or just the seat?

2003 Boxster S. I've had 6 Porsche's including a 930 over the last 30 years but honestly, this has been my favorite one.

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

Upgrading from our 2002 Grand Limited.

It has been serving well and we are reluctant to change because we have mods for towing behind our motorhome with rear light activated by motorhome. Also have removed steering wheel lock so we can tow without a key in ignition. We have added air lines so motorhome can activate an air cylinder to push brake pedal when we stop the motorhome. We also can operate electric windows & sun roof without ignition key, but pushing a button we added to simulate ignition key In lock.

But is is time to spend $40,000 again.

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

I had a whole mess of things going on in the last few weeks in order to get a new JGC....

Traded my '06 Range Rover SC in on a 2010 MBenz R350 for the wife. So, now I was driving her car... an '05 MBenz C230k Sport Sedan (Much smaller than a Range Rover). I sold this privately as the banks closed and ran to the Jeep dealership to get my new JGC. I was so excited to get the new Jeep that i left MY tags on the C230 so the new owner could drive it home. I trusted she would return them. In MD you have to wait about 10-days for title work to go through before you can register a newly acquired car from a private sale that has a lien on it - its a freakin mess.

But, I got my 2011 Limited

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

Just traded in my 2010 Subaru Forester with only 5,700 miles. I just fell in love with the look and quality of the Grand Cherokee.

The Ford was a great truck, but too massive
now that I no longer plan on pulling big trailers.

Re: What car are you dumping to make room for you WK2?

2004 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD fully loaded. 37,000 miles on it. Picked up a Laredo E, Dark Charcoal exterior with the Dark/Medium Greystone interior. Has the 3.6 with the Offroad Package 1 and Quadra Trac II 4WD. Nice base model with little to go wrong. Now I have my 94 ZJ as my off roader, and a nice new WK2 as my daily driver and forest road machine. Love the Grand Cherokees !!
