What car are you dumping to make room for your WK2?

I am anxiously awaiting my WK2, mainly because it is a new toy. I will be sad to part with my current ride when the jeep arrives though, my 2005 Volvo V70R. It was Volvos attempt to match the high performance versions of other companies, like the Audi S4. They don't make the "R" anymore. It has a turbo charged 300HP engine, all wheel drive, 0-60 under 6 seconds, HUGE Brembo brakes and rotors, 6 speed manual, active chassis system that lets you choose between three damping settings on the shocks (can go so stiff you feel like your in a vette), seating for 7 (with the rear facing seats in the trunk), and a nice body style that doesn't draw attention from the cops. When I got it, I thought is was faster and handled better than my Mitsu 3000GT. Like my WK2, it was a custom order and I had to wait a long time for it. I remember getting up each morning and tracking its progress on the ship as it crossed the Atlantic Ocean. I was moving from Cleveland, to Salt Lake City for work, and the car made it to Cleveland with only one week to spare! It does great in the snow and ice, except that the front spoiler is a little low, and there are days when I'm not sure I will make it out of my street if the plows haven't come through yet because of the limited ground clearance. Every car I've had in the last 22 years was a manual, and I'm tired of shifting. Can't wait to get my WK2 with automatic (something I never thought I would say).... I hope the WK2 is half as reliable as my V70R has been. I will miss her....

My wife and I just traded in our 2010 2-door Wrangler Sport (soft-top) for a 2013 JGC Laredo. The Wrangler was a lot of fun...at first. After the first year, the fun and novelty quickly wore off. It was great for cruising around under the FL sun and going to the beach, but it just wasn't practical in any other situation. Very cramped interior, terrible fuel economy, and a VERY rough ride. As a weekend/fun vehicle, it's great...but as a DD it just wasn't practical for us.

I got rid of my 2010 Camaro SS/RS that I ordered brand new from the dealer when they first started making them in 09'. Only had ~23,000 miles when I sold it. The MPG was horrible in the Camaro and driving a stick as a DD was getting annoying. It was a hell of a good time though!

So far I'm loving my new black V6 2013 GC w/ wheel & nav package. It also better suited for Kansas winters!

I traded in a 2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 for it.. The stang was a great car, and faster than a bat out of hell. However, for my lifestyle I knew it wasn't going to work out in the long run.

I like my jeep too be Lordy....sub 11's would be a really really really hard loss. I traded a 2010 jeep srt8 for mine and some days I still regret it.

I was always a German buyer, really. I had a 2002 BMW X5 4.4i, then a 2003 330xi 5-speed, then a 2007 335i coupe (first one in my state). After the 335i spent the majority of its time in the shop, I got a 2007 MINI Cooper S hardtop. After that, having been raised in an Audi family (dad has an A8, my brother has an A5, his wife had a TT then went to a Porsche Cayenne, then to an LR4 once the family grew.. Mom's the wild card with her 2004 Volvo XC70. Picked it up at the factory in Sweden, and 108k miles later hasn't given her a single problem) I got a 2010 Q7 TDI Prestige in Lava Gray over Limestone leather with air suspension, cold/warm weather packages, 1000w Bang & Olufsen stereo, etc. Awesome car, never gave me a single problem at all. But, the $400, 7-hour oil changes were a bit much so I traded it for a 2012 GC Overland 5.7 in Cherry Red/Saddle. Honestly I don't miss the Audi a bit. The Jeep handles better (the Audi was a diesel, so there was way too much weight in the nose) and has more features than the Audi did. I got vented seats, adaptive cruise, etc., which were all extremely costly options on the Q. There are only a few things I miss about the Audi: 600-ish miles on one tank, the MMI system (finding a song on my iPod using the Jeep's touch screen is time consuming, distracting and dangerous) and the park assist system was worlds ahead of the Jeep's. The GC, in my opinion, is the American Range Rover. Even the sound system in my Overland is great. It's about 75% as good as the speakers in the Audi, and it was standard instead of $6300 extra! I've already put 18k on the Jeep since I bought it in April, and I love it to death (with the exception of the 9-week hassle of getting my QuadraLift failure diagnosed/fixed), but perhaps a 2014-15 Overland Summit CRD is in my future..

Not to bad rap the WK2 but its not the jk kinda having buyers remorse but on the other hand I do enjoy the comfort acceleration and the new challenge that the WK2 brings

I'm trading in my 2009 Infiniti FX35 with about 60,000 miles. Never had a single issue with the car and I was always a fan of the love-it-or-hate-it shark-grin (but I always hated those side vents).

I'm very excited to have the utility of the WK2 and it'll feel good to drive a car built in the USA.
