What car are you dumping to make room for your WK2?

I am anxiously awaiting my WK2, mainly because it is a new toy. I will be sad to part with my current ride when the jeep arrives though, my 2005 Volvo V70R. It was Volvos attempt to match the high performance versions of other companies, like the Audi S4. They don't make the "R" anymore. It has a turbo charged 300HP engine, all wheel drive, 0-60 under 6 seconds, HUGE Brembo brakes and rotors, 6 speed manual, active chassis system that lets you choose between three damping settings on the shocks (can go so stiff you feel like your in a vette), seating for 7 (with the rear facing seats in the trunk), and a nice body style that doesn't draw attention from the cops. When I got it, I thought is was faster and handled better than my Mitsu 3000GT. Like my WK2, it was a custom order and I had to wait a long time for it. I remember getting up each morning and tracking its progress on the ship as it crossed the Atlantic Ocean. I was moving from Cleveland, to Salt Lake City for work, and the car made it to Cleveland with only one week to spare! It does great in the snow and ice, except that the front spoiler is a little low, and there are days when I'm not sure I will make it out of my street if the plows haven't come through yet because of the limited ground clearance. Every car I've had in the last 22 years was a manual, and I'm tired of shifting. Can't wait to get my WK2 with automatic (something I never thought I would say).... I hope the WK2 is half as reliable as my V70R has been. I will miss her....

I privately sold my trusty and dependable 2001 Honda Accord Coupe EX V6 after I bought my WK2. Was a great car but was starting to show it's age. I enjoyed the Accord so much, last year I bought another but in the '12 flavor.

Sold my 2007 IS350 a few weeks ago. Eagerly awaiting my '14 Overland.

Give private sale a chance, especially when warm weather arrives. Mine sold in 10 days on Craigslist. Was in perfect shape, but didn't have the cleanest Carfax.

Give Craigslist a shot...free and probably a few extra grand towards your 14SRT.

With a new career, hobbies, a dog and potential move to Colorado in the future, I am in need of something bigger and more capable. Cannot wait for the Jeep!

Going to miss the '07 Focus...70,000 perfect miles. Couldn't have asked for a better small car! Will certainly miss the stick shift!

2005 Ford Escape Hybrid. She's been a great vehicle - certainly not the quickest thing on the block but great mileage and totally trouble-free... looking forward to a bit more room and power, nicer everything...

Traded in a top of the line 2010 Ram 2500 crew cab shortbed diesel 4x4 Laramie, leather, power everything, with 95,000 miles. It took me on a lot of road trips for the past 3 years but it suffered from too many issues including leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere in Nevada. The Cummins was an unstoppable beast---just everything around the Cummins that disappointed me.

Hope the '12 Overland is more reliable. It certainly feels good on the road, plenty of power, comfortable, although nothing beats the power of a Cummins 6.7 liter turbo diesel--650 pounds of torque means it does not even kick down going up long hill climbs---It just goes like a freightrain, and comfort in those Barca-lounger size seats with romm for everything in the Ram was superb. The Overland is snug, well padded and plush--while some folks says it drives like a tank...No, a full size diesel 3/4 ton 4x4 with a replacement Ranch Hand bumper grill (300 pound steel bumper) is a tank. A veritable King Tiger II.

Ironically, even at 95,000 miles the Ram had no squeaks, buzzes, or rattles--Can't say the same about the Overland.

Waiting to take another road trip with the Jeep GC Overland. Makes parking a lot easier than trying to pilot a crew cab around parking lots!

My lease on the Patriot is supposed to end in July 2014, but my mileage will run out by November. Looking to get into a 2013 JGC if my dealer can make it so I'm not making payments on two vehicles since I can only use one at a time. I have more than 10,000 miles left on it. Hoping to get a steal on a 2013 with everything that I need -- I see one on a lot near me that would be pretty much perfect.

Not dumping my Patriot for any reason other than the lease... the Patriot has been flawless for me. Looking into getting something a little bigger with more modern capabilities.

Just ordered a '14 Overland, and will be trading in a '08 Buick Enclave AWD.

I traded in a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara... white with black interior. I liked it a lot but we go to our cottage every weekend and I didn't anticipate how much my wife would worry about airbags in the back for the kids and fiberglass roof... got me thinking I was a bad dad... lol.. So I got 1K dollars less than I paid for it on trade and 4 percent below invoice on the JGC Overland.. couldn't be happier. I have had some REALLY great and REALLY bad cars in my days, but this I think feels perfect.

We are trading in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and my girlfriend's 2007 Jeep Liberty. Love my Wrangler but will order a new one when the diesel is available in them. I had been wishing I had a lower rear end - due to ordering confusion on the 2012s I ended up with 3.09 instead of 3.73 (max tow previous to MY12 came with 3.73). The lift and tire size aren't doing the tranny any favors. Hurry up diesel!

Will be ordering Brilliant Black/Jeep Brown Light Frost CRD
- engine block heater
- QDII
- advanced tech pkg
