What car are you dumping to make room for your WK2?

I am anxiously awaiting my WK2, mainly because it is a new toy. I will be sad to part with my current ride when the jeep arrives though, my 2005 Volvo V70R. It was Volvos attempt to match the high performance versions of other companies, like the Audi S4. They don't make the "R" anymore. It has a turbo charged 300HP engine, all wheel drive, 0-60 under 6 seconds, HUGE Brembo brakes and rotors, 6 speed manual, active chassis system that lets you choose between three damping settings on the shocks (can go so stiff you feel like your in a vette), seating for 7 (with the rear facing seats in the trunk), and a nice body style that doesn't draw attention from the cops. When I got it, I thought is was faster and handled better than my Mitsu 3000GT. Like my WK2, it was a custom order and I had to wait a long time for it. I remember getting up each morning and tracking its progress on the ship as it crossed the Atlantic Ocean. I was moving from Cleveland, to Salt Lake City for work, and the car made it to Cleveland with only one week to spare! It does great in the snow and ice, except that the front spoiler is a little low, and there are days when I'm not sure I will make it out of my street if the plows haven't come through yet because of the limited ground clearance. Every car I've had in the last 22 years was a manual, and I'm tired of shifting. Can't wait to get my WK2 with automatic (something I never thought I would say).... I hope the WK2 is half as reliable as my V70R has been. I will miss her....

Turning in a 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Lariat 4WD with a fuel guzzling 6.4L Turbo Diesel

I am ordering either the 2011 '4WD', 'Hemi V8', Limited or the Overland. I really do want that saddle interior with either a Dark Charcoal Pearl Coat or Bright Silver Metallic exterior.

Just hope I can find a decent dealer here in Louisiana, cause down in the south, it is difficult to find a 4-wheel drive JGC? If I am buying a Jeep, then I want a Jeep! To me, a Jeep is meant to be a 4-wheel drive icon. All the dealers down here stock mostly two-wheel drive models. At this rate, I might have to travel out of state to buy it?

Regarding 4-wheel drive, I travel to Huntsville, AL and up into Tennessee quite often, so during the snowy season or for inclement weather, 4-wheel drive is a must.

Sold 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X with 4" Lift and 20" Rock Stars w/ 35" Tires for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with all options except chrome and offroad package... Very happy with the new JGC...

Hello all. New to the forum. My 2011 dark charcoal grey Overland should arrive tomorrow. I'll be trading in my heavily modded 09 Rubicon Unlimited. Wasn't a planned trade but after the wife had a recent "death wobble" experience on the highway I did some soul searching and test drove a 2011 limited and was sold! I'd attach pics of the rubi but don't know how?

Welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your new GC! My wife got in an accident and totaled our 2002 Acura TL typeS. Thank god she's ok. Think the insurance company gave us a better deal than I would've gotten for a trade in. Can't wait to get the jeep. With a new baby we need the room.

Traded in my 2008 Wrangler X for my brand spanking new Grand Cherokee Overland last week. My wife doesn't drive a clutch and the Wrangler had the 6 speed manual so I finally got another automatic. I got the Hemi and the adaptive cruise control as the only options on the Overland, since it has just about everything else stock.

Giving my 102K-mile, no-trouble-ever 2005 Volvo XC90 V8 to my daughter. Had the yearning for the supercharged Range Rover, but the WK2 Hemi Summit is 85% there at half the cost. No-brainer! Except I'd be rolling in the Rover right now, instead of waiting waiting waiting for my Summit! :)

Wow...i was gonna buy a CLS up until the snow killed me this year. Thought a CLS would be worse in the winter than my C300.

When my Overland, V8 arrives in early April, my dealer is taking in my 2008 C300 on trade. Going to miss it. LOVED IT! No issues ever, best car I've ever had, but looking forward to the new JGC and can't wait to buy a water toy to tow.
