+1 to almost everything you said!

My last 2 vehicles were black. They looked good right after a wash. But a couple of hours later... not so much. It was also impossible to keep them scratch free. They showed every single flaw.

The Mineral Grey looks great day & night and even looks good dirty (mainly because you can't tell it's dirty).

Re: What Color is your WK2?

Traded my Dark Charcoal w/black interior Overland for a Rugged Brown Summit with the saddle interior (and the off-road package). Absolutely love my Summit.

We also have the Inferno Red which I wasn't sure about at first but has grown on me. Stands out a bit which makes it easier to find in a parking lot and I'd agree that it hides dirt pretty well. I'm usually more into gray or silver but my other car is gray and the DW didn't want silver.

Our first preference was the Blackberry until I saw how close to black it looked...wasn't sure how the inevitable dings and scratches/chips would show.

Re: What Color is your WK2?

Ha! This poll suggest my Natural Green WK2 is somewhat a rare bird, less than 5% of those voting.

I had not seen another green one in the wild until today; I actually saw TWO green WK2s, one in my home town, pulled into a parking lot just ahead of me and one passed me on the highway. Very odd to see.

I saw a bunch of WK2s later this afternoon on the highway on my ~150 mi drive from Boston to our CT office.

Looking good Jeep!

Re: What Color is your WK2?

All right, I'll quit cursing the darkness and light a candle. Deep Cherry Red, love it and it gets raves from all who've seen the new baby; one neighbor is planning to get one after having drooled over ours. I've seen at least two other Cherry Chauvinists posting in various threads.

Tomorrow we redpaints are filing a class action discrimination lawsuit against JG.
