Re: What Color is your WK2?

Wow... I am the only in Bronze!!

By the way, I am waiting a little to post some pics after I finish some minor mods.

I have noticed something about my color... there are very few photos were it really shines like in person. The official photo is truly ugly.

I like the somewhat elegance + sportiness of this Bronze color. Love the Mineral Grey. My old WJ was Silver so I don't wanted the new one that color, but I like it also. I had the Brilliant Black side-by-side before purchase this one... awesome and elegant color when clean.

Re: What Color is your WK2?

70th - It's kinda cool when you have a rare model/color. The Bronze is pretty, and the chrome bezels were a standout choice!

I see WK2s a lot, but have yet to see another Rugged Brown. But I'll certainly see one more often than you will see another Bronze.

Re: What Color is your WK2?

^^ Yeap, was only available for the 70th Anniversary... my wife wanted in black, but I felt in love with this one.. and since I liked the 70th Anniversary Package, interiors looks better (color match) with this color rather than Black or Silver (the only 3 colors available for the 70th).

I bet that Rugged Brown is another beautiful color that looks terrific in person more than pictures.

By the way, I saw a similar color in a 2011 Explorer the other day in the highway and today I parked along one and looks beautiful also!... Ohhh, the guy in the highway wanted to race with me! Jealous he was, LOL!

Fabulous color -- we would have sprung for a late 2011 with Bronze had it been available in the Overland. Still, the 2012 Deep Cherry Red has turned out to also be a winner.

Re: What Color is your WK2?

I saw the Bronze Jeep at my dealer recently. You are right, the color is STUNNING in real life, especially in bright sunlight.

Re: What Color is your WK2?

I decided to go with Rugged Brown Pearl. I liked the color a lot and liked that it seems to be less common to see around.

Totally agree. I have a silver car and it always looks clean. I wanted the silver Overland but like you said it just didn't "pop" like the darker colors. I think the silver and chrome just don't blend as well or don't pop as well as the darker colors and chrome. I'm thinking though the silver could really pop with some black contrasting trim. Just a thought. But yeah nice trade off as the darks are hard to keep clean.

Yea, but you have the most common color, as this poll suggests and from what I see on the road. Your car just happens to have a more chrome bits, what's so special about that?!

It's less common, but you'll see at least one other around as I have the same color, bought from the same dealer here in Phoenix.

Congratulations on your superb taste.
