Black.. lol Blackberry as you stated, was what I was going to get, but after looking at blackberry inside, outside, cloudy, sunny days.. To often then not it looked purple up close.. Far away it always looked black. If it always looked that really nice blue that it can.. I would have picked blackberry
Yeah I think I'm tired of plain black. Its a pain in the ass to keep looking nice too. Not that other colors won't be, just that my current car is black
Best bet if your still undecided is to check them out in person before making your decision. Best thing about it, is the isn't much difference besides emblems and mirrors between the base Laredo and the top of the line Overland. So you don't have to seek out the exact model to get an idea of what your GC will look like.
We have the Blackberry, and love it. I have yet to see where it looks purple. But it's just as hard to maintain as black. Goodluck and let us know what you decide.
After the record heat waves that we've had this summer in the NE, I'm going light colored, just to try to keep that 120 degree heat build-up out of the interior! I'm very partial to the Blackberry over the black or charcoal, but am heading toward Mineral Gray as my order choice.
Blackberry is still a hot color.. Love the picture Steeler.
I probably should have chosen it to be different.. But Black or White you usually can't go wrong with ever. All the colors but green are nice.. Thats just because I dont like green
lol, I love silver too mate.
Ease of maintenence of the paint is a huge boon for silver, even when dirty, it looks mostly clean.
Black cars drive me absolutely nuts, I have two at the moment and they get washed more than driven. I couldn't imagine daily driving a black car, I would go crazy, seriously!
And I really don't think that red does anything for the WKII at all. Each to his own though
"Dog Dick" bright red would be much better, imo that red ^^^ ages the vehicle.
The blackberry reminds me of my ink blue Edge. In the sun it looks great but in a shadow, later in the day or even in a car wash it looks black & is hard to maintain. IMO, not enough definition to it. I saw one at the dealer in the shade and honestly I had to look at the sticker to see what color it was. And yes it was next to a black Laredo. I am still making up my mind but it seems like either the Inferno or Mineral will be my choice with the 20" chrome wheels.
Has anyone seen an inferno red WK2 personally? I did not, so its difficult for me to judge if it goes more into a wine red or into a crystal clear fire red?
I'm with Jim Hef. Silver is a nice color but not on this model. I'm also leaning toward the grey metallic. If I were a youngster. (Yeah I think I'm a bit older than most of you folks) I'd go for the infeno. Still may.
Do you realize that to get a Mineral Gray metallic one you are talking about ordering a car that you probably won't get until next year. This might make a silver or red one look a lot better.
The first WK2 I ever saw live was a blackberry Limited with light beige interior. Looked gorgeous. Just looked like really dark metallic blue.
I was at the dealer two days ago for service on my KJ and they had two black Laredos right outside the showroom main door that I looked at for a few minutes. I returned this morning for something (the service a couple days ago wasn't done right *sigh*) and I then realized that the one of those two black Laredos I had been fawning over was actually blackberry! (the other really was black.)
It really depends on the light - it either looks barely blue or totally black. Purple? Nah.
