I've got to do mine,
A little under two hours - I was surprised, honestly thought it would be quicker than that. Would obviously take a fraction of that if I had to do it again.

Damp mopped the dust off the garage queen yesterday. Grateful for it being garaged after last night's may fly hatch.

An example...

This is a hatch on Doppler radar...

They have a stench like dead fish.

Dropped mine off at the dealer for a "look into" the P20EE code, steering column TSB and some other software updates.

farfromovin HID install looks great. Any pictures of the beam pattern against the wall of the fogs on alone and fogs on/headlights on?

I always like the 3000k fog light look...

LOL... no, just along the Mississippi River.

I have to keep reminding the neighbor kid to shut his sunroof and roll up his windows every time I fire up the sprinkler system.

Well, last night he forgot to close his sunroof. So not only did he get a load of mayflies inside his car, we had a major t-storm roll through around 3am.

His car will never be the same. Priceless...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Got a bit ambitious with the DIY projects I've been knocking out on the car. Threw on the 'gunsmoke' Lamin-X tints I had bought. Original plan was to have the custom place toss them on tomorrow when I get my trim vinyl wrap, but I said, "what the hell, I can do it!"

Woof. That was not easy and took quite a while. The bottom rear reflectors and back up white lights were easy. Those larger pieces were tough to line up and place correctly. From afar it looks aggressive. But from up close it looks sloppy and one of the tints it's already peeling off a tiny bit. I can see why they wanted to charge me like $95 to do it. I really dig the look so I will be peeling this off later today and grabbing a new set and paying to have it done. Gonna ask the shop if they want precut sections or just a roll. /sigh should have just waited, but live and learn (and wasted $70). Also, the precut jeep set from the lamin-x site came with no cut out of the 3rd break light.... Weird?
