Also got a quote for the door handles to be replaced with the color match white ones. That's my next project in the next 2-3 weeks, schedule permitting.
Just curious as to how much you paid for the mod and what quote did you get. I was actually thinking of plasti dipping the trim and the handles black, adding a little bit of glossifier and having some patience and bam. Make it look like vinyl.

Oh and today my front passenger side wheel flare fell off because apparently the shop that did my lights did not clip them back on. SMH. Ordered the set on Justforjeeps which set me back $200+

Place did the wrap for $300 which is on the higher end of quotes I have
seen people put up. I didn't mind paying it be bc they do good work and are located just a 3 miles from my house (I also don't trust myself to DIY). The next closest places which were a bit cheaper were a good 25-30 miles away. So I paid for the convenience factor as well.

I don't know of dipping the door handles would work well, unless you plan to never open the door. Would imagine tugging on a door handle daily, the plasti dip would come off rather quick? I called a place in my town for an estimate on the door handles. Told him I had 4 white ones that I wanted to swap out the chrome with. He said they would do it for $150. I explained again what I wanted and he quoted me that 2x more. Now that is way way way below my expectation and he either made a large mistake and he was just saying random numbers, or he is unaware of the work involved. Plan to call them again when I am back from traveling and confirm. If it is that price (which I'm not banking on), the door handles will go in sooner than later.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Today I'll be receiving my gloss black metallic vinyl in the mail.

So I'm going to be removing the dash wood grain trim to vinyl over it.

That is pretty high, but convenience is important. The shop i go to is close as well and its also the priciest. BTW, I took the plunge and dipped the tail light bezels. It was a bit of a pain, but it came out great.
