Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Got a few things done last night when I got home. I got my Volant CAI installed , a billet underhood kit , and the bracket to mount my billet oil catch can.

I also got my summit lighted scuff plates installed, very easy to do.

Hoping to get the catch can installed today, also give it a wash and I got some 3m spray film to put on the rockers for extra protection.

ahh ok.

fyi they sell the chrome caps on ebay for like $100 if you cant find somebody to trade with. plus it shouldn't be difficult to sell those black ones.

i have a set of chromes but they come with the housing as well.

Gave her a thorough cleaning...

As a side note, I usually clay her every quarter or so and it usually takes about a hour when I do it, but man, today was different... Took nearly 2 hours bc the hood and top of the quarter panels were caked with stuff, but man, was it worth it.

Strange for a car that is garage kept, but it is a labor of love.. A labor that wifey doesn't understand.

Did a very thorough detail. There is so much "moon dust" and construction around here it took a wash, clay, polish, and wax to finally look descent again. Here's hoping I won't have to do it again in a week (jk probably will).
