Don't even need the fogs anymore, headlamp bulbs are that good
How difficult was the install? Were there alot of pieces that needed to be removed to reach the headlight bulb or was it more simple than that?

Id probably keep my fog lamps on just because I like the look of it

There are detailed directions on wk2jeeps site...some had luck pulling the air box and working blind. ..I ended up pulling the front clip...don't let the directions scare ya...about a dozen or so rivots, four bolts and the whole thing pops off...took like 2 hours start to finish....if I had do it again, would take maybe 45 minutes knowing how to do it

I have a 13 and the Headlights are the h11. Silly question but I'm gonna ask anyway... Do you truly see a difference in output or do they just look brighter?

Thanks

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I installed the h11 in the fog lamps, not the headlights. Even still I do see a difference. It's not a huge earth shattering change but it does put out a cleaner light. From the exterior it looks better too. The stock fog lamps looked yellow compared to the headlights. (Yes I know some fog lamps are meant to be yellow so they can cut through fog better. But not all are).

I think it cleans up the look of the grand Cherokee and is how the vehicle should of come from the factory

How does the color match look to the stock hids? I tried some 6k leds in the fogs once and they had too much blue in them made the stock hids look too yellow. Your pictures look like they match how is the match in real life? Thanks

I dont think the fogs make the headlights look yellow. I havent gotten a chance to drive the jeep at night yet, but when I was looking at it in my garage I didnt get that feeling.

Im going to take it out tonight and see how it looks on the road/at night and ill be able to give a better answer.

I took a look at it in a garage today. I could definitely understand the "too blue" argument. It might just be because I'm looking for it. Had I not been on the forum I might not ever have noticed or been looking for it.

That said, 5000k might Match it better. I'm keeping my 6000k mainly because they were expensive and I threw away the box already. Whoops. Unless it truly starts to annoy me or I get comments on it, they'll stay. But I would recommend 5000k for a better match

Those ones you got are good ones, no fans, no canbus issues, plug and play and good light output. Stock HIDs are 4300k so i think you are right 5000k would be a close match. Do they have those ones in 5000k? Most led i see are 6000k so that must be a standard with them.

I havent seen any that were plug and play in the 5000k area. I know theres a Xenondepot rep that is usually on these forums. Maybe they have something that I didnt see.

These were by far the easiest in terms of upgrading.
