Those look great! Definitely let us know about driving differences. Smoother, slower, reduced MPG, louder, etc. Looks great on the vehicle though

Curious why the G2, with that size you could go K02 or Duratrac. The Nittos are good tires, don't get me wrong, just curious on your thoughts as I'm thinking of upgrading sizes soon as well.

The G2's look less chunkier than the G1's..

Didn't that screw up your speedometer?

I thought the KO2 and Duratrac would be a little loud for me as they do seem to be a more aggressive AT tire. The G2's tires for my driving seemed perfect balance between highway driveability and off-road capability, a big jump from Fortera's.

I saw side by side and G2's have more aggressive looking tread pattern and pattern looked more robust and could handle foul weather - off roading better. The G1's are 13 year old technology and the G2's with new tire compound are supposed to be quieter than 1's with overall improvement in all area's.

I went from P235X15's to 31"X10.5"X15's on my Ford F-150. The speedometer is off, but also it took away a lot of performance as well. The truck won't pull it's own weight up a steep grade in overdrive, and lost a lot of acceleration. Not that it had that much with that 5.0 V-8 to begin with. I've been running them for over 125,000 miles because the truck rides and looks so much better. Those tiny P235's looked ridiculous in the wheel wells. Almost like those Mexican cars with the go kart tires.

The best way to check it, is to measure the circumference of both tires with a long tailor tape. That way you can calculate the exact percentage it will be off.

Good thought... If only the G2 had the "snowflake" so you could legally drive with them in areas that require snow tires I'd probably go that same way. I'm not a huge offroader by any means, just would like a tire that offers a little more capability for a 4x4 vehicle and it would be nice to have that snowflake on the side for the 2 times a year I need it lol. Either way, the much larger G2's look great on your ride!

Yea, you have to remember that the sockets were designed for incandescent bulbs which don't give a rat's pattootie about polarity. LEDs, however, are polarity sensitive, so flipping them around in the socket is often the "fix" if they don't light upon installation. And Murphy's law dictates that you will install at least one the "wrong" way the first go around...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I'm thinking about doing some Cree bulbs myself. I pretty sure he got them off eBay. But there's like 5 billions choices and price variations. Hard to know which is quality.
