We're really liking our choice of white for our 2015 Limited. We were torn between it and Cherry Red. The red is beautiful, but I just love how clean the white stays. I realize it gets treated to the same amount of dirt, but you can't notice it like you can with the darker colors.

We purchased our Jeep last April 9th. I washed, clayed, and treated it to a coating of Nu-Finish the first week we had it. I haven't washed it since. And other than a light coating of dust you can barely see, it doesn't need it. When my wife had her red Mustang, it looked dirty after just a couple of weeks, because of how the dust stood out on the darker red.

Wait until some kid walks by and writes "WASH ME" on it with his finger.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Last night, took it to the dealer for an oil change, "don't hack me bro" update and activate the trailer wiring harness.

I find it comical that they have to plug into an FCA device to do anything, but to reset the "since last oil change" countdown, you just tap the gas a few times in acc. mode to reset it.....

What's the "don't hack me bro" update?

The software update they put out shortly after the release of hackers getting into UConnect and controlling a Cherokee. It's supposed to be a security update to make UConnect less vulnerable. I cannot remember if it was listed as a TSB or not but it is a no cost radio update.

Look for that to change real soon in upcoming model years. It won't be long before it will require some type of dealer only "input code" to reset it. And I wouldn't be surprised if they installed some type of, "will not start feature" if you ignore it, so you'll be forced to take it to the dealer for an overpriced oil change. It's all about the $$$$$$$.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

installed LEDs in dome lights and rear lights (above rear doors). Car is really nicely lit now inside, looks great.

Need to buy a few more bulbs to also do driver and passenger footwells and trunk lid lights.

Did they charge you to activate trailer wiring harness?

I need them to activate the trailer wiring sales code, idk if it's the same thing u did but they want $125 to do so.
