The chrome trim can easily be removed via a heat gun and any non marring tool plastic putting knife or something. You can also do the cheap way if you don't have a heat gun like me and use fishing line and hook it one side and pull away tell it all comes off. The heat gun is a lot cleaner job. Both however will require a cleaning material like goo-gone or some other product capable of removing the remaining adhesive. Takes a few hours, but think the jeep looks substantially better with it off.

Here's mine:::

Just had a 4x4 buck try to take me out. Hood, fender, and both drivers side doors have damage. Should be interesting to see how much this costs!

We're both OK. Thanks for asking Chunderboy. Couldn't find the deer in the dark but can't imagine he made it far.

Messed it up 😕. 2 cars slammed their brakes in front of me and the jeep didn't stop in time. Front bumper is fine but gonna need to get painted. And need a new plate mount. Nothing really happened to the other car.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

So I redid my courtesy lights under the jeep. I bought some heavy duty led lights. I also bought a couple of 4 ft long L shape brackets to bolt them to where the step tubes bolt up to. Drilled some holes to the L brackets and zip tied the led strips on there. Great fit and I like the look better than before.

New strips

covered the wires in heat shrink tubes and then put about 15" of this mesh slip for added protection.

at the gas station

new ones

the ones i replaced

where you referring to me?

if so, mind control... lol jk

They are connected to my interior lights. So they turn on when opening the doors, unlocking or turning on the interior lights.

Added AVS in-channel window visors, have a second set of anyone wants them. Minor imperfections from shipping but otherwise in good shape. Will let go for cheap
