These guys know what I'm saying. HAM is so much more current and useful than a CB is these days.

Nice setups!

Amateur Radio.

However these Australian units pictured are not Amateur gear, just the run of the mill CB radio for us. No licence, over the counter purchase. Australia virtually abandoned AM 27Mhz years ago and now use UHF transceivers in the upper 400's.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Thanks. I'm wondering what ham radio has to do with CB radio, is all.

Looked at a cousin's setup in his Hilux today. Nifty.

It's a Uniden. Controls are in the Mike handpiece. Radio unit mounted under dash somewhere. Might do the same.

Replaced the crappy ball valve that kept leaking on my Provent with a Fumoto valve.

I purchased a Fumoto Valve a few weeks ago. It's going in on my next oil change, along with a K&N oil filter with the 1" nut welded on the end.

They should come with those. It makes the entire roof system much more useful.

... what is a "Provent"? Is that QL suspension related?
