... what is a "Provent"? Is that QL suspension related?
Provent 200 is oil catchcan for crankcase gas that is injected back into the motor via air intake. Catches most of the oil.

Ehhh, I wouldn't call it awesome. but it does have a bit more note when mashing on it. A little sound when cruising but not so much as to bother one when talking hands-free on the phone. In general I wanted to see if the aftermarket companies selling no-muffler CAT backs would be too loud and/or worth the $$. AFE & Banks have 2.5" & 3" kits, respectively, for $500. I don't like either since they don't address the pinched 3" section upstream of the Y-pipe section.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Replaced a headlight bulb. One of my Osram Night Breaker Plus bulbs died. It lasted just over 2 years. Fortunately I was smart enough to keep the original bulbs as spares. I've order a pair of the newer Osram Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs.

I had forgotten just how much of a pain it is to replace the one on the drivers side...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

So I started the tow hook install last night. It's really and straight forward to do. Took several pics for you guys. I'm not finished because the kit was missing the spacer kit. Which is not a big deal, plus I got the kit for $65.00.

This with the 3 lower plastic guards/ air dams off.

All the parts

Make sure you remove this guy, which is on each inside corner or pulling off the trim will be difficult.

Couple of pics of the tow hook hangar. The manual called for the longer ones, but I used the shorter ones. Both are same grade and sense I don't have the spacer kit, I figured the longer ones will be better to keep for the hook.

Make sure you clear the pinch weld on the frame. Specifically the rear portion on the hangar.

This is what I'm missing.

Once I figure out a solution I'll post the rest of the install.
