let is sit in the garage and drove the old 6-speed straight-piped Dodge Cummins 4x4. much more visceral experience

Uniden UH8080S. I stashed the actual unit behind the carpet in the passenger footwell, unit is fully controlled via the Mic.

I installed a Chief nudge bar and mounted the antenna to that.

Installed a set of Morimoto Type M XB LED Projector Fog Lights. They match the OEM HID lights very well. Put out much more light than the stock fogs with a sharp cutoff

Maybe so but truckers use them all the time around here and they are very good about notifying others about speed traps, traffic backups/accidents and…… good looking women.

Oh, for sure... the K40 was the stuff of legends in the mid to late 70's, but it's kinda surprising to hear that they still get a good rap. I guess some things can't be improved on?

As a kid back then I liked the look our 9 foot stainless whip, but from memory we broke at least two of the convex security mirrors at the servo. Ooops...
