Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Al never understood the lure of the ones that stick to the outside. The weathertech ones look way more ergonomic.

Hey 2011GCSummit, can you tell me about how you colored the chrome on the "JEEP" liftgate trim

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I bought the Altitude edition strip here:
Jeep Altitude Edition Black Tailgate Handle in Black or Brilliant Black #AltitudeTailgateHandle
And got the chrome "JEEP" vinyl sticker here:
GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!...
The sticker fits the letters perfectly and is better for me since I didn't want to worry about the paint chipping off or the color not matching. If the stickers start to peel I can just reorder for $8. It gives the same effect for me. I bought 2 when I ordered them the first time in case I screwed it up. The only hard part is getting them lined up the right way. I'll take closer photos so you can see how they look up close.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Installed some WeatherTech side vents. Very well designed to fit and installed simple. Easy to pull down when you want to remove them.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Vinyl wrapped all chrome trim and swapped out the emblems. Mirrors, handles, and wheels next month.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Techinically I cleanned it yesterday, but the finish was immaculate. And today, all the hard work got rained on.

I really need to start checking the forecast before I wash.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

What I would have done today was install the Magna Flow dual exhaust sitting in my garage onto my 3.6 liter, if the dealership had ordered the correct dual exhaust rear fascia.....argh!
