Installed interior LED lighting today - price was $19 from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o00_s00
I figured I would give it a try as the Precision LED kits started at $80 which did not include all bulbs - glove box, vanity mirrors, and license plate are all extra = $140 if you get everything (Jeep Grand Cherokee Premium LED Interior Lighting Package 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012
Placed these into my '15 Limited and all the bulbs go in great. As already known, map lights overhead can not be replaced easily ala 'plug and play', nor do any kits seem to come with replacements. The contrast kinda pisses me off. However, that is not kits fault, no idea why Jeep did that /sigh. Rear License plate lights can not be replaced with what came in the kit, as they are not really bulbs like in the older model GCs, - more like panels? Anyone have a good alternative/replacement for the license plate lights for '15 models?
Overall I am pleased with them - not blindingly bright but I prefer the white light compared to the stock. For $19 not a bad upgrade - will see how long they last (company claims 5000 hours).
