but if car came in full of oil, and engine is clean, no issue.

plus Mobil1 isn't going to cause an issue
I just asked because of the MDS System. I've heard around here, as well as other places, that the MDS system is very oil specific in regards to weight, (5W-20), and type. And if there are problems with it, it could cause warranty issues if non compliant oil was used.

I doubt that would ever happen. But it's easy enough to use Chrysler spec oil because it's sitting right on the shelf at Wal-Mart with all the rest at a good price.

Changed the diesels oil. Installed my first fumoto valve while I was down there and grabbed a sample to send out to Blackstone.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

We took a ride to get breakfast. While on the road, the check engine light came on and the ECO mode stopped working, as did the automatic headlights. All are a very strange confluence of issues. After breakfast, I took it to a parts dealer for a scan and it said something similar to "cooling system 1" and noted it is a permanent record. After I gassed up, the check engine light went away, the ECO mode started working as well as the automatic headlights. It came back on after about 4 miles, so I had to call the dealer and am hopeful they can get it in on Monday.

We had the water pump replaced a week ago. I'm hopeful it is just a loose connector or something. Does the Hemi have a mechanical fan or only electric? It is a blizzard and I'm not going to go pop the hood to find out.

Installed my Mopar splash guards along with my Weathertech floorliners. December heatwaves don't last forever.

I picked it up today from the dealer. The tech that did the water pump repair a couple weeks ago evidently didn't plug the cooling fan connector adequately. Pretty frustrating to not be able to drive it for two days due to a repair issue.
