Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I have the manuals on my phone as well as hard copies in my home office. I like redundancy. The other day I had to re-program my garage door opener and I was glad to have the printed manuals. It was just easier to read and refer back to than using my phone.

You can view them at Jeep Owners | Download an Owners Manual 2004 - 2011 | Jeep and probably request them from Owner Connect.

Be sure to include the VIN # of your vehicle. You can also call 1-877-I-AM-JEEP (1-877-426-5337), Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

I agree. People get fed up with all of that electronic bull$h!t. It get's old squinting at some tiny screen, when you can have a nice manual at your fingertips. Especially when it's available free for the asking.

So I just passed 50k. What's the recommended tune up/services and should I take it to the stealership for records and what not or DIY some of it and have them do the hard stuff . I only say hard stuff cause I did a tranny flush my self on a 5 series I had and apparently I missed something on it. Who knew. Damn fancy cars

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I miss paper manuals, my job moved to electronic pubs and I hate it. Other than the speed of it.

Your manual has a schedule of maintenance requirements that you can follow relative to what is due now. It's personal preference as to what "you" do vs the dealer or other service professional. I don't do any DIY maintenance on my vehicles outside of tire pressure, checking oil level occasionally (Hemi), changing cabin filter, servicing my K&N air filter and keeping it clean. That works for me, but not for everyone.

Got it back after 9 long days!
I have new respect for what I thought was a crummy sounding alpine system lol, try driving around 9 days in a renegade loaner. It had the equivalent of a transistor radio

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Hey everyone, today I got installed a set of aftermarket LED tail lights on my 15' Jeep GC Overland, I posted pics and videos on the thread I found the info about them on the first place so check it out. Here's the thread, look for page 3 to find the pics and videos I posted.

Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!
