I've had my new Jeep 9 months now, and I've yet to turn on either front or rear wipers. I don't even know if they work!

lol must be nice, I have always tried to push changing them to once a year but really they need changed every 6 months which is what I have been doing. I like Arizona I was at general dynamics in Scottsdale on travel few years ago and ate at some restaurant near the red rocks, wish I could remember the name of it. beautiful scenery I ate there three nights in a row lol. you see cars there that are 20 years old and look like they are brand new.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

I think the next time I wash it, I'll run both front and rear wipers after I rinse. Just to make sure they both work. Probably would hurt to run the washers as well. Just to push some fluid through them.

Yea, you should probably do that, bilt. It's actually not a terrible idea to run them a little during the "rinse" phase of the car wash to in sure any dirt is flushed from under them. As long as you are past any of the "touch" phases of a car wash...which is why I wait until the rinse phase.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Took the wife's 2015 WK2 ecodiesel to work today. I'm just over 16K miles and on the way home the check engine light turned on. I pulled the code and it came up as P20C2. Did some google searching and can't find much about that code. I cleared the code and we went on our way and drove about 100 miles and it turned back on this time with a different code, P0171 - (System to lean Bank 1).

Thoughts anyone?

Just replaced my halogen fogs with Philips X-Treme LED's. Happy so far. The pattern of the drivers side bulb is at a very slight angle when shining on my garage door compared to the passenger side, but you don't notice at all with the headlights on. Not sure if it is just the color change, but they seem a bit brighter driving down a dark road. The color matches the LED's around the headlights, which fixes that crappy looking yellow that has bothered me since day one.

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Pulled it out of the garage yesterday and noticed a little fluid on the floor. Crawled underneath to find the transmission is soaked in fluid. Appears to be coming from the black case (presuming the filter housing) on the bottom of the trans and not the oil drain plug.....
