My 1991 Ford F-150 is leaking pretty much all over. It's got 150,000 miles on it. The leaking started a few years ago, but there were no other symptoms associated with it like slippage and such. So I just purchased one of those large pans so it doesn't get on the garage floor.

I've got a guy in town who will pull it and completely rebuild it for about $900.00 parts and labor. I think I'm going to make an appointment, and give it to him and get it done. He has done work for me before, and I trust his work. You really have to be careful with transmission work because there are so many rip off artists out there. And dealers want a fortune. This guy has been around forever. My truck is in really good shape, so it will be worth it to get it done.

Indeed I do agree with you on that. But, still under warranty, they can have it and replace it at their cost, not mine!

Started looking for a replacement. Looking at 3/4 ton Gm's and Ford's. We're ready for a bigger travel trailer or 5th wheel.

We drove one the other day with the Duramax. Nice truck but too many fancy gizmos for us.

Most seems to go with the interior package from these guys including myself, fairly easy to install but a bit on the costly side

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

So my sister owns a 2014 Eco Diesel Overland with ORA2 and ACC. Her high mount brake light flashes twice and they stays on when she steps on the brakes. My 2015 Eco Diesel Overland with ORA2 has the traditional brake light. No flash. Both vehicles were bought brand new.

Any idea on why her brake light flashes?

That's a great question. There's a Kia SUV that I occasionally get behind while dropping my kids off at school that does the same thing. Some kind of new safety feature or regulation? My 16 Ram doesn't do that. Or maybe it does.
