Got these from Amazon yesterday but can't do anything with them yet because my 2016 High Altitude is currently on a train headed west to California!!!

My car needs a wash still but I changed the chrome on the lower bumper/sill bit to black, I don't know the proper name for it.

Also went over the badge with some gloss but can't really tell from the picture.

Dropped it off for an evap check engine light again. Second time. First time they said there was something wrong with the filler neck and had to replace it. Went away for a couple of weeks but came back.

Bought one. Finally. '15 Limited black with 20" wheels and tow package. Pretty excited to join the Jeep family at long last.

Strange. With my ski racks on top (without any skis/boards), they howl loud as hell, but bare they are fine.

Good job on getting it fixed though.

Drove it and I personally like the results. Is not silent but I went from not liking the noise to barely noticing or remembering I installed them.

Good idea. Wonder is spray foam would work?

Would likely work well, but 1) you'd have to be really, really careful applying it and protect other things (including yourself) from getting the uncured foam on it--mask off the piece well and 2) probably be happier using the black product used for pond sealing so that it disappears from view better.

Thought of that too but then I wondered if the foam expands could make it harder to place rubber lining. Also I didn't like the idea of doing something irreversible or messy. Perhaps weather strips could do a better job.
