Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Just finished installing my V3 Triton front turn signal LEDs. That completes my LED conversion for front DRL, blinkers, Rear main reverse and tailgate reverse, and license plate bulbs. The only thing I have left is the JW Speaker fog lights, but those are a bit expensive for now so it'll have to wait.

Prepped the Summit for some 4x4 action this week on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Tomorrow--tallyho.

What's the average wait time from when the dealership orders until they tell you it's ready? Mine was "ordered" 8/1....about when should i expect a call?

I received the letter on the mail in June. Dealer did not have any in stock and had a wait-list going. Last week i just happen to drive by and stop to see if they had any available and the only had 2 left so they reserve one for me.

So I just need to keep calling them...dealerships aren't big on doing "free" repairs!

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Since its a recall, they are liable for ur safety if they do not fix the issue and u have an accident due to this. They are fully responsible. Once a recall is out that means that they have acknowledge and admitted their error.

It's not just Jeep. I was notified of a recall on my wife's G6 convertible over 3 months ago regarding the anti lock brakes and traction control, saying I would be notified when parts arrived. Called yesterday and still no parts.

Hope they get your parts in soon!

Picked up a complete set (5) of Safari Rims w/ TPMS running 255/70-18 Bridgestones that have less than 400 miles on them for the Summit. Will try to get them on this weekend...
